Here, you will find events as diverse as conferences for 1,600 delegates, concerts for 4,100 music lovers, banquets and gala dinners for 1,400 guests, and trade fairs and exhibitions in the column-free main hall, which is 1,800 square meters in size with a ceiling height of 12 meters. Aarhus Congress Center holds more than 2,000 sqm of fully-equipped meeting, conference and event facilities. Due to its unique flexibility, including moveable walls, the facilities can easily be adapted to individual events and capacity needs – and to your wishes. The center’s 1,782 sqm main hall is equally suited for trade fairs as it is to exhibitions. The 600 sqm foyer with daylight can be added to the exhibition area upon request. You can be confident that we will offer the ideal support framework for hosting your event. The heart of the center is the main hall, surrounded by smaller meeting and function rooms, as well as the roomy foyer.

Your events partner

As a signature service, we appoint a personal event coordinator for each and every event. The event coordinator will work closely together with you − all the way through the planning process, the actual production and the evaluation of your event. Our dedicated experts are ready to assist you with lots of creative ideas and suggestions, based on their experience covering more than 2,000 successful meetings, conferences and events at Aarhus Congress Center and the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Aarhus every year. They coordinate everything you need from audiovisual equipment to catering and service, as well as hotel reservations and setting up social programs outside of the congress center for your guests.

Food and beverages

We arrange all kinds of meals in connection with events at Aarhus Congress Center. Flexible facilities

The main congress hall seats 1,600 delegates theater style, 1,000 school room style or 810 delegates in group seating at round tables. The hall is outfitted with moveable walls, which means it is very flexible and can be easily adapted to event needs, size and capacity.

Our skilled audiovisual equipment and interior design partners guarantee optimal solutions by utilizing the newest technology and creative setups. By including lounge areas and projected decorations on the walls, the ambiance can be enhanced to match the occasion, supported by sound and light technicians who assist from control positions on the balcony.

In the foyer, you will find a registration area for delegates as well as access to cloakrooms and bathrooms. In the back of the hall, find VIP rooms and flexible meeting rooms for board meetings, secretarial services, storage and dressing rooms for speakers and performing artists.

Trade fairs and exhibitions

With 1,782 sqm available in the main hall and 600 sqm available in the foyer, our spaces are perfectly suited for exhibition stands and public areas such as arenas for key note speakers, entertainment, cafés and bars.

Cars and trucks with heavy equipment benefit from direct access to the hall through large gates. With a ceiling height of 12 m, it is easy to decorate the exhibition hall with banners and lighting.

In the lobby, you will find access to a visitors’ cloakroom and bathrooms, and in the back of the hall, we have VIP rooms and flexible meeting rooms for committee meetings, secretarial services, storage and dressing rooms for speakers and performing artists.

ACC, with its amazing grand hall, starry-ceiling, stage and dance floor, can transform into an unforgettable evening for you and your guests.

The large banquet hall has historically housed everything from banquets to award shows and up to 1400 guests can dance and dine throughout the evening.

The music is on

The main congress hall is transformed into a concert hall with room for 4,100 standing or dancing guests.

ACC is the city’s most popular large-scale music venue for today’s leading artists and bands. Big names have performed and filled the room, with music played over the state-of-the-art sound system. Draft beer is served from the bars in the corners of the hall and in the foyer. Here, one can also enjoy fine wines and soft drinks when the music genre is more on the gentle side.

A bonus for concert organizers: A ticket sales office is placed to the right of the center’s entrance, while from the foyer, guests can access the cloakroom and bathrooms. Behind the stage, find VIP rooms and dressing rooms for performing artists, plus facilities for secretarial services, meetings and props.

Present the latest models

Car launches can be set up and displayed in the main hall. Surrounded by happy invitees enjoying lunch or dinner at round tables, while product presentations and live entertainment take place on the stages.

The large gates from the center’s outdoor area give both normal-size vehicles and big trucks access to the hall, on the same level.

Right in the city center

Aarhus is an important and busy traffic junction, with train and ferry connections to other parts of Denmark and with easy access to international airports in Tirstrup (AAR) and Billund (BLL). The icing on the cake, so to speak, is the Nordic seaplane route between the harbors of Copenhagen and Aarhus. Aarhus Congress Center is in the city’s Scandinavian Center, which is also home to the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Aarhus. Unlike most other congress and exhibition centers, Aarhus Congress Center is not situated in the outskirts of the city but right in its center, neighboring the City Hall, the Aarhus Concert Hall, the ARoS Art Museum and the city’s shopping district with its lively cafés and nightlife. Airport busses to Tirstrup and Billund and the central station are within walking distance from Aarhus Congress Center. Arriving by car, go for Aarhus C and follow the signs towards “Musikhuset” and “Scandinavian Center” – where 1,100 parking spaces are available.
