The center’s 1,782 sqm main hall is equally suited for trade fairs as it is to exhibitions. The 600 square meter foyer can be added to the exhibition area upon request.

The main congress hall seats 1,600 delegates theater style, 1,000 school room style or 810 delegates in group seating at round tables. The hall is very flexible and can be easily adapted to the specific needs of your event.

Our skilled audiovisual equipment and interior design partners guarantee optimal solutions by utilizing the newest technology and creative setups. By including lounge areas and projected decorations on the walls, the ambiance can be enhanced to match the occasion, supported by sound and light technicians.

In the foyer, you will find a registration area for delegates as well as access to cloakrooms and bathrooms. In the back of the hall, find VIP rooms and flexible meeting rooms for board meetings, secretarial services, storage and dressing rooms for speakers and performing artists.

Right in the city center

Aarhus is an important and busy traffic junction, with train and ferry connections to other parts of Denmark and with easy access to international airports in Tirstrup (AAR) and Billund (BLL). The icing on the cake, so to speak, is the Nordic seaplane route between the harbors of Copenhagen and Aarhus.

Aarhus Congress Center is in the city’s Scandinavian Center, which is also home to the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Aarhus. Unlike most other congress and exhibition centers, Aarhus Congress Center is not situated in the outskirts of the city but right in its center, neighboring the City Hall, the Aarhus Concert Hall, the ARoS Art Museum and the city’s shopping district with its lively cafés and nightlife.

Airport busses to Tirstrup and Billund and the central station are within walking distance from Aarhus Congress Center.

Arriving by car, go for Aarhus C and follow the signs towards “Musikhuset” and “Scandinavian Center” – where 1,100 parking spaces are available.

Aarhus Congress Center

Aarhus Congress Center is operated by Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Aarhus. They are both situated under the same roof in the Scandinavian Center. The hotel offers 33 five-star meeting rooms and 234 four-star hotel rooms and serves the Congress Center with first-class catering.
