Morrissey returns to Denmark in 2026
Experience Morrissey live with hits from both The Smiths and his solo catalog when the British icon visits Denmark again next year at Aarhus Congress Center on February 13.
In 2026, Morrissey returns to Denmark following his completely sold-out concert at K.B. Hallen, this time visiting the City of Smiles.
Morrissey’s influence and musical legacy are indisputable. With 13 solo albums, a long list of No. 1 singles, and an Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music, he is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in British pop music, and notably one of the greatest lyricists of his generation. He also received a Social Vanguard Award in 2024 in recognition of his ‘outstanding service and dedication to Animal Rights.’
As the lead singer of the groundbreaking Manchester band The Smiths, he helped leave a lasting mark on music history with just four albums. As a solo artist, he has consolidated a sound that still resonates today, cementing his status as one of the most celebrated voices of the past four decades.
When The Smiths’ debut single, ‘Hand In Glove,’ first hit the airwaves 40 years ago, the musical landscape was changed forever, marking the beginning of a rich catalog of generational anthems such as ‘This Charming Man,’ ‘How Soon Is Now?,’ ‘There Is A Light That Never Goes Out,’ ‘Suedehead,’ ‘Everyday Is Like Sunday,’ ‘Irish Blood, English Heart,’ ‘First of the Gang to Die,’ and many more.
His acclaimed solo catalog has resulted in multiple top 10 chart placements in both the UK and the US, including Viva Hate, Bona Drag, Kill Uncle, Your Arsenal, Vauxhall and I, Southpaw Grammar, Maladjusted, You Are the Quarry, Greatest Hits, Ringleader of the Tormentors, Years of Refusal, World Peace Is None of Your Business, Low in High School, California Son, and I Am Not a Dog on a Chain.
Morrissey’s upcoming tour continues the celebration of all the songs that have resonated with fans worldwide and across generations over the past 40 years. It’s a tribute that local fans can look forward to experiencing – or re-experiencing – when the famous and notorious artist takes the stage at Aarhus Congress Center.
